CAPACITY BUILDING ON ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE, ISSUES AND CHALLENGES AT ADMINISTRATIVE TRAINING INSTITUTE

 

 

Name of Event: Mandatory Foundation Training for Group D staff, was received from Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Government of Mizoram

On 19.7.2023, between 1:30 PM to 2;30PM a one-hour lecture on the topic Khawvel Huapa Climate Change Chungchang was delivered at the lecture hall of ATI. The topic stressed on the following points: –

  1. Explanation of the term climate, weather, and climate change.
  2. Working of the global climate.
  3. Causes of climate change.
  4. Historical trend of recorded global climate change and challenges.
  5. Projected climate change scenarios and their probable impacts.
  6. Historical trend of recorded climate change and challenges in Mizoram
  7. Steps to address climate change issues and challenges.

Participation: Around 50 persons who are Group D staff of different Government Departments participated in the training course and attended the lecture.
