Chief Minister’s Inventors Challenge: State-Level Winners Announced
Aizawl, March 28, 2025 – The Chief Minister’s Inventors Challenge, a key initiative under Mizoram’s Bana Kaih Scheme, successfully concluded with the announcement of state-level winners at Vanapa Hall. The competition, aimed at fostering innovation and technological advancements, saw remarkable participation from individuals across the state.
State-Level Winners and Innovations
At the grand finale, the following winners were declared:
First Prize: H.V. Lalzuimawia (Aizawl) – Bamboo Flattening Machine
Second Prize: Ramdinmawia (Haulawng, Lunglei District) – Hmarcha Chi Lakna
Third Prize: Lalchhuanmawia (Haulawng, Lunglei District) – Zoloom
These winners will receive seed funding to further develop and implement their groundbreaking projects.
District-Level Awards
Prior to the state-level event, district-level competitions were held between March 11-17, 2025, in various districts including Aizawl, Lunglei, Siaha, Champhai, Kolasib, Serchhip, Mamit, Hnahthial and Saitual. The winners at this stage were awarded:
- First Prize: ₹25,000
- Second Prize: ₹15,000
- Third Prize: ₹10,000

Exhibition at Vanapa Hall:
