Needs:

  1. Oil palm extraction unit: Apart from being one of the top producers of oilpalm, the surrounding villages are also the hotspot for oilpalm cultivation. However, these oilpalm has to be transported a very long distance to Bukvannei at Godrej industry located at Kolasib district. Tonnes of harvested oilpalm spoil while waiting for the collectors who often take days to collect at the collection site.
  2. Storage facility for fruits and vegetables.

The village has a good production of fruits and vegetables. However, due to lack of processing or storage facilities, any surplus production in the village gets spoiled. During the time of survey, spoilage of huge amounts of watermelon was witnessed. There had been reports of spoilage of cucumbers, mustard and melons due to poor market chain.
