Tuidam is a village with a total population of 1695 and total house of 335. With a Scheduled tribe percentage of 94.22% most of the people in the village depend on agriculture to sustain their livelihood. Due to favourable topography of the village area, there is a huge potential for water conservation in the village, apart from that there is water body covering more than 1 ha of the village area, which can be a potential for recreational, Bio-tourism, water conservation, agricultural purposes.
Agriculture Scenario:
Major agricultural practice in this village is growing areca nuts in a settled farming system. Other crops viz., vegetable crops, fruits crops etc are grown along in these arecanut farms.
