AWARENESS AND PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
A photography competition on the theme of climate change in Mizoram was organized in collaboration with Mizo Photographer Society (MPS) during November 2016 to January 2017. A total of 76 photograph entries from 26 participants from different parts of Mizoram was received and prize distribution function was held was conference room of Directorate of Science and Technology, New Capital Complex on 26th January 2017.

1st Prize winner: Jhum burning (land preparation) by M.S. Dawngliana, Ngopa, Mizoram
2nd Prize winner: Solid waste buring at Aizawl by H. Hmingchungnunga, Armed Veng South, Aizawl, Mizoram
3rd Prize winner: Burnt Jhum land by Malsawmtluanga, Tuikhuahtlang, Aizawl, Mizoram
