The programme was organized online (webinar) to observe and celebrate the International Biodiversity Day 2021. Two speakers Dr. Zothansangi, Asst. Professor, Department of Zoology, Govt. Champhai College and Dr. Lalneihpuia, State Biodiversity Board Member were invited to give a presentation on the status and issues pertaining to biodiversity conservation with respect to Mizoram and the world. A total 88 participants from science NGOs, Govt. line departments, students, scholars and faculties from colleges and universities joined the programme.
