The Intellectual Property Rights Cell, Govt. Aizawl West College in collaboration with the Patent Information Centre, Mizoram Science Technology & Innovation Council (MISTIC) held a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for five (5) days from 21.02.2022 to 25.02.2022. The programme covered the topics ‘Overview of IPR’, ‘Patent: Scope of Patent Protection', ‘Geographical Indications: The Story of GI registered from Mizoram specific to Mizo Puan’, and two case studies from Innovator and Academician. The programme was concluded with a valedictory speech from Mr. P.C. Lalngilneia, Scientific Officer, MISTIC.
