Background: An official letter regarding a request to depute a resource person for delivering a lecture on Climate Change at the Basic Service Rules & Financial Rules Training for the pay level 4,5 & 6 was received from Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Government of Mizoram.

                In response to the request, Dr. H. Laldinpuii, Project Scientist-I, State Climate Change Cell, Mizoram Science, Technology and Innovation Council (MISTIC) was deputed to deliver the lecture.

Report: A one-hour lecture on the topic Climate Change was delivered at the lecture hall of ATI on 22.9.2023 at 10:00AM. The topic stressed on the following points: –

  1. Brief introduction on climate change.
  2. Causes of climate change.
  3. Projected climate change scenarios.
  4. Steps to address climate change issues and challenges.

Participation: A total of 25 persons of pay level 4, 5 & 6 of different Government Departments participated in the training course and attended the lecture.
