Climate Change Awareness through Cleaning of River/Stream (Chawlhhmun stream)
On 26th March 2022, State Climate Change Cell under Mizoram ScienceTechnology and innovation Council in collaboration with Section III Young Mizo Association, Chawlhhmun Branch, Aizawl, Mizoram organised cleaning of Chawlhhmun stream. Short speech on climate change awareness was read out and after that cleaning of non-biodegradable wastes along the river banks up to Chawlhhmun locality border was carried out. A total of 40 members participated in this activity. All the wastes collected were put in garbage bags and were loaded on a Pick up truck and disposed off at the municipal dumping site.
