Climate Change Awareness through Cleaning of River/Stream (Saitual river)
On 9th April 2022 (Saturday), Mizoram Science Technology and Innovation Council in collaboration with Wildlife and Environment Protection Society, Saitual organized one-day cleaning of Khurthar lui, Lamhnai lui and Haipui lui. A total of 120 members participated where they were divided into various groups and the cleaning of these rivers was done. Since there was a large number of participants, cleaning of drains was also carried out. The cleaning of these rivers was done with the help of the village Sanitation Committee.
